Primeiro dia/First day

Hoje foi meu primeiro dia no novo trampo e na facul. Fazia uns bons anos que eu não trabalhava numa empresa relativamente grande, então foi um pouco aterrorizante. Aquele monte de gente cujo nome você terá de decorar, mil nomes e siglas de projetos e tecnologias que só fazem aumentar a impressão de que você nunca irá entender o que se passa na empresa.
Mas, fora isso, foi bem legal. Basicamente deu para sentir o clima do ambiente de trabalho e a cultura da firrrma. Pessoal bem divertido e tranquilo, acho que vou gostar.
A facul… bem, não tivemos aula, pois a professora NÃO HAVIA SIDO INFORMADA sobre os horários. É. Desorganização desse nível. Medo do que está por vir.

Today was my first day in the new job and in college. It’s been years since I last worked in a fairly large company, so it was a little bit terrifying. That many people whose names you’ll have to memorise, a thousand names and abbreviations of projects and technologies that only increase the impression that you’ll never really understand what goes on in the company.
But, apart from that, it was pretty cool. Basicaly I could feel the atmosphere of the place. Fun and easygoing folks, I think I’ll enjoy working there.
The college… well, we didn’t have class, because the teacher HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED about the timetable. Yup. That much disorganization. I’m afraid of what will come.
